The Horizontal Axis Logarithmic Spiral Fluid Turbine (Patent Pending)
About Us:

Omar Abass the inventor of the logarithmic spiral turbine;
Started working on a turbine design since 2010 in Columbus, Ohio with a belief in mind that energy is all around us but we just have to know how to harness it without hurting the environment.
The idea of building a turbine to collect the most energy possible with the most simplicity came from nature around us. The logarithmic spiral shape made the most sense since all fluids follow this path in a three dimensional plane, however the only obstacle was to incorporate the shape efficiently into the turbine design.
After long hours of research and experiments, finally the horizontal axis turbine with blades shaped like a three dimensional logarithmic spiral came along as simple and natural as it can be in terms of look and efficiency.
The project is still in its early stages. It is projected to be commercially ready in the summer of 2011
currently working on this project using personal funding and donations.
Any contribution to continue research and development will be greatly appreciated.
